NSAP computing is focused on providing scalable solutions to high–resolution numerical modeling with demanding data storage requirements. By keeping abreast of the increasing speed and density of rack–mounted cluster computing, NSAP delivers climate analyses and real–time weather predictions that easily fit within a single rack (standard 42U) of equipment. Pushing even further into the Teraflop environment provided by GPUs (graphical processing units), NSAP is aiming for a desktop platform that provides climate and weather simulations previously only possible on super computers.
